Last month I was approached by Pablo of The City Magazine, El Paso’s own monthly lifestyle magazine, to be in their October “Beauty” Issue; I was so excited & completely shocked that they would want to showcase my blog & style. Interview went great, he was so nice & very easy going which made the experience of 25+ questions less nerve wrecking. Next up… photoshoot! I knew exactly what I wanted to do & what I wanted to wear. I also found out thanks to wordpress notifications that my blog turned 4 two weeks ago. What a great way to celebrate, showing El Paso what my true passion is after sharing it with you all for 4 years <3.
For the shoot, I went with this amazing plaid shirt/dress by Olivaceousla from Ruby Lola, a boutique here in El Paso with amazing pieces. If you haven’t stopped by make sure you do, love their selections in apparel & accessories. I paired it with thigh high boots to show off just enough leg, a statement necklace & the look was complete. Always simple, easy, & edgy with a bit of sex appeal; I definitely stayed true to my style for this feature. For chillier days, you could easily throw on an oversized coat or the perfect leather jacket to keep it edgy. Look out for my weekly roundup of #ootd when I rock this out when Fall weather actually arrives to the Sun city lol.
I’d like to give thanks to Garrett for being sweet enough to help me with the shoot, in case you were wondering, his t-shirt is from High Point TX. Chino for always taking amazing pictures & helping me with all my shoots including this one <3.The City Magazine for giving me the opportunity to show El Paso my blog, style & love for fashion. & of course, to my family, friends & readers/followers for the support these past 4 years <3.
